How does it work?
Good question! The Miniscope works thanks to two curved lenses inside, set at exactly the right focal length for maximum magnification!
By adjusting the distance between the two lenses, and the distance to the object itself, you get a sharp, close up image.
The gap between the lenses is set by turning the two black wheels, one right at the top and the other a little lower down. As for the distance to the object, well... you set that one with your hands!
And yes, we can promise you it beats a magnifying glass 😅

We would say it is absolutely worth it, and our customers would probably agree! It is genuinely fun and super versatile. It works at home, in the backyard, on forest walks (our favorite) or even at school.
On top of that, you can look at pretty much anything you want. It is an exciting way into learning, which can often feel boring or flat when it comes out of a textbook. Who knows, you might have a budding scientist at home.
Does the Miniscope work well indoors?
Absolutely! Whether it is a sheet of paper, a piece of fabric or even a cookie crumb (no judgment here), the Miniscope is perfectly at home on indoor adventures.
With it, curiosity never takes a rainy day off.
I cannot see anything through the Miniscope. Is that normal?
No need to worry. We get this question a lot, and it is completely normal at the start.
Quick reminder: the Miniscope is a microscope, not a magnifying glass. So you do not use it from a distance or on the move the way you would with a regular magnifier.
Here is how to use it properly:
1. Press the object you want to observe right up against the Miniscope lens. It has to be in contact, because the zoom is very powerful.
2. Turn on the built in light, even outdoors. It makes the details much easier to see.
3. Use the two wheels. The top wheel zooms in (optical magnification). The bottom wheel sets the sharpness (focus).
Because it is a real pocket microscope, it takes a short adjustment period. At first, kids may need a hand to get the right technique. But once they have it, it is magic. They rediscover nature and everyday objects as if they were exploring a brand new world.
What is the magnification?

Can it be used with glasses?
Glasses have no effect on the focal distance of the microscope. You will have no trouble using it with glasses on, just be careful not to drop them when you look down!
What age is it for?
The Miniscope is made for kids ages 4 to 12 and up. Every quest is captivating, whatever the age. The youngest explorers will need a guide (that is you!) to uncover all the hidden treasures.
Is it easy to break?
Not really! The Miniscope is a sturdy companion. The body is made entirely from premium ABS plastic, and the glass lenses inside are very thick and well protected. It was built to survive the boldest expeditions.
One warning though: it prefers adventures to stunts, so please do not stand on it.
How do I track my order?
You do not need a compass to track your order, adventurer! Here is how to find your treasure in a few simple steps:
1. Check the email we sent you the moment it shipped. It holds a magic link to follow your package.

3. Enter your order number to see where your Miniscope is on its quest.

I did not get a tracking number. What now?
Do not panic, adventurer! Sometimes the tracking number takes a little longer to appear, up to 48 hours after shipping.
If you still do not have it after that, our expert Guides are at your service. Send them a message and they will go looking for your precious package.
Why has my order not shipped yet?
Every Miniscope is packed with care, and that can take up to 48 hours before it leaves our warehouse.
If your order is taking longer than expected, our Chiefs of Exploration will investigate and keep you posted. Just reach out.
My order says delivered, but I never got it.
If your order is marked as delivered but has not reached you, here is what to do:
• Check whether a neighbor or someone at home took it in for you.
• Look at your tracking number to confirm the delivery address.
• If the package is still nowhere to be found, contact our Chiefs of Exploration. They will do what it takes to solve the mystery.
My package was returned to sender. What do I do?
No worries! This can happen if the delivery address was incorrect, or if the package could not be delivered.

Preparing the treasure. Within 48 hours of your order, your Miniscope is carefully checked and packed, like a precious artifact ready to travel.
The great crossing. Once on its way, it crosses cities, mountains and plains with our delivery partners. The journey usually takes 6 to 11 business days, depending on where you live.
You can follow the whole adventure at any time with our tracking tool. Stay tuned to know exactly when your Miniscope lands, so your own explorations can begin!
What if I am not happy with my order?
